Learn to sew in the supportive and creative environment of a group setting with the skilled guidance of Sacramento based designer, Ariel, of Handsome House Design Co.
Created for enthusiastic beginners, this 6wk course will familiarize you with how to use a domestic sewing machine to create totes and garments! Ariel will lead the class through basic functions of the machine, how to read a pattern, fabric selection and garment assembly.
Together we will create our own “Weekender” overnight bag and a simple blouse or pair of lounge pants.
Meet new people in the creative community, learn a new skill, and complete the course with two of your own handmade designs!
*machines and tools are provided. Students will need to purchase fabric for their garment by March 4th (est. $20-45)
